TriZetto's Customer Support Website One of the Nation's Top 10

Site Recognized for Usability and Customer Experience

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - June 25, 2009 - The TriZetto Group, Inc. today announced that its Customer Exchange website for healthcare payer clients has been named one of the "Ten Best Web Support Sites" by the Association of Support Professionals (ASP). TriZetto was honored with the award among recognized giants in the support world, including Hewlett Packard and Verizon.

ASP is an international membership organization for customer support managers and professionals. A software and IT services firm, TriZetto helps payers and other healthcare organizations move toward Integrated Healthcare Management (IHM): the systematic application of processes and shared information to optimize the coordination of benefits and care for the healthcare consumer.

"Our team of professionals that designed and maintain the Customer Exchange website is gratified by the recognition, and we're especially pleased that the experience and value for customers has been so positive," said Sandy Perkins, associate vice president of application support at TriZetto. "We're continually posting content that our healthcare payer customers seek. The site has real utilitarian value, and this is the most important measure of our success."

Launched a decade ago, TriZetto's Customer Exchange was revamped recently to reflect TriZetto's commitment to IHM and web applications that help enhance payers' connectivity to other constituents in healthcare as well as the cost and quality of care delivery.

"We brought people together from across the company to map out the details and add new features," Perkins explained.

The website winners were selected by a panel of judges with expertise in web support design and implementation, using a scoring system based on 25 separate performance criteria. The evaluation process considered:

  • Overall usability, design and navigation
  • Knowledgebase and search implementation
  • Interactive features
  • Customer experience
  • The major site development challenge

TriZetto's customer support site and those of the other nine winning companies will be profiled in a book entitled The Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2009, to be published by the ASP in July.
